About the film

Plot Synopsis:
A popular college jock begins to have disturbing visions of his sister being murdered. As he searches for answers, he uncovers dark family secrets and learns that he must come to terms with his sexuality and the remarkable power inextricably bound to it in order to save his sister.

In The Blood offers a daring new concept while resurrecting the stylistic flourishes and melodrama of the best 1970s thrillers, especially the early films of Brian De Palma and John Carpenter. It blends suspense, horror and character in a riveting, stylized narrative with a modern day twist.

The suspense of In The Blood is grounded in its characters. This is a-coming-of-age film about young people discovering who they are. It is also about the fears and anxieties of being different.

Shot on location on the campus of Columbia University, In The Blood joins a select few films to be shot on the historic campus, including Spiderman I, II & III, Ghostbusters, and Marathon Man.
