Di encourages Sylvia to come clean to Malcolm. Natalie convinces Janine to take the blame for the scissors in her mattress. Tough new inmate, Pat Kerrigan, exposes Sister Thomas' real crimes. Arun decides to make a religious change.
Neil decides to allow Arun back into G-wing knowing that she won't survive in a man's prison, only to have it end in a bloody fight between Natalie and Pat. After learning of Jim's vasectomy, Di makes plans for adoption.
Jim refuses to care for baby Dylan while Di cares for him. Pat offers to share a cell with Arun. Natalie and Janine study a prison map in hopes to plan an escape. Jim allows Sheena an early release only to be sabotaged by Di.

When the police begin to investigate Jim's death, it is clear that there's an endless list of suspects. The detectives start by questioning Di and the inmates. After a cell inspection, Natalie is rewarded a television for cleanliness.
Di pleads not guilty to Jim's murder. Joy decides to change the cell allotment. Natalie plans her escape during an outside visit with her brother, Clive. Sheena is delighted to be reunited with her son for a short while.
