Josh Aronson has been directing and producing films for many years. Starting in commercials he directed over 500 spots and MTV rock videos. Aronson started working in television in 1996 directing pilots and specials for Nickelodeon. He directed the opening 16 episodes of the reality show Outward Bound for Discovery and in 2000 directed his first feature documentary, Sound and Fury that premiered at Sundance and went on to be nominated for an Academy Award. Since then he has produced and directed 5 feature documentary films on a variety of subjects through his company Aronson Film Associates. In addition to Beautiful Daughters, his latest film premiering on LOGO, is Bullrider, a feature documentary about the world of professional bull riding that opens in theaters the spring of 2006.
