Meet three biological females blurring the boundaries of gender. Jill struggles to tell her mother she is gender-queer; Lauren hates her conservative neighborhood; and Kim considers top surgery, despite her girlfriend's and her family's reservations.
Jill continues to feel nervous in front of her mother; Lauren decides to leave Howard Beach, NY for San Francisco; and Kim goes through with her surgery.
One month after Kim's top surgery, she decides to go on testosterone, and the importance of her relationship with Michelle sets in. Jill returns to New Jersey and her mother pushes her to see a gynecologist.
Now on "T," Kim officially identifies as male, but Michelle feels increasingly uncomfortable. Lauren, now living in San Francisco, performs as part of a Drag King troupe.
