After publicly denouncing the Mormon faith on a popular Australian television talk show, Sue-Ann Post (a lesbian, comedian and a Mormon) was excommunicated from the church. In The Lost Tribe, follow Sue-Ann's very personal, funny, and often moving story as she travels to Utah where she has been invited to be a keynote speaker for the Affirmation Conference, an annual gathering of gay and lesbian Mormons and ex-Mormons who are trying to reconcile their faith with their homosexuality. As cynical as she has become about her former religion, Sue-Ann finds herself struggling with conflicting emotions that she had buried for years, while realizing that she may have finally found her own lost tribe.
