With Caroline in the hospital, her boyfriend Dan continues riding. But the fun and games don't stop with a spontaneous street dance. Carolyn reflects on her uncle Jonathan who did the ride for many years before he died. Edyth rides the entire day for the first time!
It's talent show time kids! Some of riders show off their talents on stage, and surprise guest Lea DeLaria sings and performs.
Day 6 arrives and the energy is up with the big hills behing them and only one more day to go. Caroline and Nathan are back on their feet and feeling better. Jon recalls when he found out he was HIV positive.
Nearing the home stretch in Ventura, Dan is worried about Caroline's health after the hospital. Cher recalls more about losing her father to AIDS and is happy to be back in touch with the gay community. Nathan is back on his bike and already talking about the ride next year.
This is the last night on the ride and the Candlelight Vigil takes place. The unity that everyone feels is something they don't want to let go. Wilson Cruz makes a special guest appearance.
The last day begins. The riders are excited to be finished while at the same time they don't want to lose the unity they found together. The common ground everyone experiences is how the ride affected them emotionally.
30 miles to go and the adrenaline is pumping. A look at the progression that everyone went through over the last 7 days. As they riders pull into Los Angeles, they're greeted with crowds, cheers and tears.
The Closing Ceremonies begin! They did it! The riders raised over $6.8 million for AIDS research. Peter Page from Queer As Folk makes an appearance. The riders agree that they've been changed forever because of this.
